Dr. Rima Janusziewicz is co-founder, Board member and Director of Research at Anelleo. She is a graduate of the lab of Professor Joe DeSimone (former Professor - UNC Chapel Hill and CEO of Carbon, Inc.). Dr. Janusziewicz has extensive experience in CLIP (DLS) 3D printing technology including use of CAD software and medical device design and fabrication. She is an inventor on patents in the areas of 3D printing, medical device design, and drug loading. Dr. Janusziewcz is a recipient of the NC TraCS Institute TL1 translational post-doctoral grant, a competitive program that promotes entrepreneurship and translational science. Rima received her Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, a BS in Chemistry from James Madison University, and is currently a Research Affiliate at UNC.
AnelleO is harnessing the advancements in the speed and scale of 3D printing technology for novel solutions in Women’s Health. AnelleO’s first products are Intravaginal Rings (IVRs), which offer a unique platform for sustained delivery of therapeutics – a non-invasive, self-administered and retrievable platform that can deliver drugs over a period of days to months.
